What Are Alternatives To Google
Google is currently the top search engine used for the majority of Internet searches. In many countries, its market share exceeds 80%. But who are its primary rivals today? What are your options when searching for information online? We will examine the advantages and limitations of two different search engines. See this link for an example.

Microsoft's Bing Search Engine
Microsoft's Bing Search Engine is perhaps the most well-known alternative for Google. They look almost identical from a visual standpoint. The search engine results include details about each result, such as a title and description as well as a link directly to the results. Certain searches have an option at the top of the navigation pane which contains facts that are interesting. Bing also has vertical search engines that cater to certain types of content, like videos, images and news. These can appear in separate pages or in the main search engine results page. Google has been accused of showing YouTube videos prominently in videos, however this hasn't been a problem for Bing. Bing is, like Google is able to analyze user behaviour by storing information about search queries and clicked on results. This lets Bing to serve targeted advertisements within its results pages for search. Bing is also able to serve personalized ads within its Windows operating system.

Duckduckgo Search Engine
The DuckDuckGo search engine is another alternative to Google. When you initiate a search, DuckDuckGo performs the search on your behalf. DuckDuckGo will then get the results from Bing and then displays them to your browser. You'll never come into direct contact with Bing while using this search engine. Bing cannot see any personal information, such as your location or IP address. DuckDuckDuckGo also adds ads to its search results. It is however unable to serve personalized advertising as the US search engine does no gather any information about users. If you search for "holidays" or something similar, it will only show ads about the phrase or keyword you searched for. It won't be allowed to utilize any other information it has about you since it's decided not to use it. Bing, Google and other search engines are very similar in our opinion. It's up to you decide which one is more attractive. We prefer DuckDuckGo because it's more secure and allows you to remain genuinely anonymous.
